Job Summary:

The Vail Resorts Finance Team is committed to Building Leaders and Driving Value. Our Finance team is driven by top-tier talent to support and deliver against the Company’s strategic growth objectives as we continue to scale the business. As a public company with a market capitalization of approximately $8 billion, the team engages closely with the investment community on the underlying business model dynamics and the strategic growth drivers. To support this mission, we are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Senior Manager of Investor Relations.  The Senior Manager is the primary dedicated professional who establishes the IR strategy, develops key processes around investor communications and is a critical point of contact for investors and analysts.  This position reports to the Vice President of Investor Relations and Strategic Development, has direct exposure to the CFO, and manages the Company’s communications and reputation with the investor community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for investors and analysts, establishing and managing external relationships, coordinating meetings and calls with the investment community, and effectively communicating the Company’s strategy and financial position to investors and analysts
  • Lead the preparation and development of investor-oriented materials, including quarterly earnings releases/calls, fact sheets, investor presentations, and Q&A talking points
  • Rigorously and consistently assess the relative positioning of the Company in the marketplace and track market and comparable company trends.  Provide strategic insights and market intelligence gathered to assist senior leadership in understanding relative performance and positioning
  • Monitor, analyze, and summarize analyst models and notes to understand investment community expectations and intricacies of each model including drivers and key assumptions, and identify variances versus Company expectations
  • Assist in development of global IR strategy, identification of IR best practices, and implementation of key initiatives
  • Coordinate and manage investor events, including investor days, roadshows, conferences, and investor meetings and calls

Job Requirements:

  • Outstanding academic credentials: Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting degree preferred)
  • 4+ years related work experience
  • Foundation of financial acumen, including corporate finance, capital markets, and business analytics
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg

 

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $105,000 - $132,500 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
