Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Epic Pass Guest Acquisition is an insight-focused, guest-centric marketer with a desire to tackle challenging, exciting business opportunities in an effort to drive pass holder acquisition for the most critical revenue driving products at Vail Resorts. In this role, the Senior Manager will lead development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive business results for the ‘Acquisition’ guest segment of Vail Resorts’ guests. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, the intuition for business, and strong relationship-building skills to effectively translate ideas into action. This person will work with other members of the Lift Revenue Team to achieve critical business metrics while working cross-functionally to execute campaigns targeting new guests. This leader will identify innovative ways to expand reach and increase awareness/consideration of our advanced commitment Pass products through ROI-focused programs. This leader will need to build and leverage relationships with core channel, analytics, and Strategic Alliance teams, as well as external partners, to be successful in this role. Job Responsibilities:

Business Ownership:

  • Own development and execution of strategies that drive acquisition through clearly defined business objectives and demonstrable KPIs
  • Synthesize internal and external data into compelling business cases and performance narratives for executive audiences; influence at every level of the organization to get strategy buy-in
  • Connect with Pass Team and cross-functional partners to unlock productive working relationships and efficient cross-functional processes 
  • Influence cross-channel partners to optimize and evolve lifecycle marketing strategies using all channels to increase acquisition of new guests and drive conversion into our Pass products
  • Collaborate with other lines of businesses (Ski and Ride School, Hospitality, Rentals) to generate enterprise-wide marketing strategies and improve the guest journey
  • Draw on the external world for inspiration - demonstrate standard methodologies, new insights, and what works/doesn't work from leaders in and out of the industry
  • In partnership with cross-channel teams, translate business strategies into full-funnel multi-touch marketing programs with a guest-centered approach
  • Identify and communicate opportunities in the guest journey to focus test and learn plans to incentivize behavior and bring new guests into the portfolio
  • Demonstrate strong learning agility, emotional intelligence, and ambition, with the experience to recognize and develop talent
  • Lead and develop direct report(s) and cross-functional partners in the execution of key performance initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA or other advanced business learning or coursework preferred

 

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience including proven ability to successfully lead and oversee critical projects and multi-faceted business initiatives Experience with analyzing information and data to make decisions
  • Experience supporting and working with C-level executives in a business environment
  • Experience drawing on numerous qualitative/quantitative data sources to build compelling business stories that clearly communicate business results and convey new strategies

  • Prepares executive-level presentations (e.g., content development, talking points, etc.).
  • Manages cross-functional business partners and can effectively navigate change in a cross-functional context
  • Oriented to quality with strong attention to detail.

 

The budgeted range starts at $100,000 - $125,450 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
