Job Summary:

The Senior Manager for Employee Housing – Finance and Asset Management is accountable for the housing portfolio by working in alignment with the Director of Employee Housing to help identify and execute the Employee Housing strategy and vision to meet both current and future business needs. They will be responsible for the asset management, including real estate opportunities, contract execution, budget accountability, capital strategy and oversight, Housing systems and strategic planning initiatives in service of creating an Experience of a Lifetime for employees living in Employee Housing.  They will drive the strategy and data management to ensure we have scalable employee housing solutions that enhance our current and future business needs for Enterprise Employee Housing Team.

  • The budgeted range starts at $99,900 - $115,000 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute on the Employee Housing strategy driving the Company’s short- and long-term business needs, to include data management, real estate, finance, and driving strategic planning efforts for Employee Housing
  • Responsible for the Employee Housing budget performance through yearly budget build, monthly forecasting, rate setting and revenue management strategies, financial auditing and reporting
  • Responsible for the Employee Housing data management strategy by collecting, analyzing trends and reporting to necessary stakeholders including, occupancy & revenue management, portfolio performance, YOY data, processes and policy compliance
  • Lead and develop team of 1 direct report and 1 indirect report ensuring talent growth and engagement
  • Drive demand model, real estate acquisitions, financial proformas and master lease negotiations for Employee Housing while managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders through negotiation strategies
  • Set and track short- and long-term capital strategy and drive execution of strategic vision with regional teams including financial expectations
  • Serve as back up database administrator for the StarRez Housing Database system and maintain an in-depth knowledge of processes and procedures
  • Oversight of multiple Employee Housing systems to enhance internal and end-user experience by driving efficiencies through new modules, integration efforts and data driven strategy
  • Manage and deliver standardized, best-practices, across the enterprise as a leader for the Employee Housing Team
  • Develop and maintain complex internal and external relationships, including collaboration and communication with local Housing Teams, Housing Liaisons, Legal, Finance & Resort Teams, COO’s, vendors, and other outside contractors to ensure business needs are met. Serve as project manager for Housing Oversight Committee to drive enterprise strategy results.

 

Job Qualifications:

Required:

  • Education: University/College Degree
  • 5 + years of experience (or 3+ years with advanced degree/certification) in finance, accounting or real estate 
  • Experience in development of complex models and data analytics
  • Prior resort experience a plus
  • 5+ years’ experience of directly managing employees at a supervisory level
  • Experience working with remote teams preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in database management
  • Strong aptitude for accounting
  • Familiarity with real estate terminology
  • Familiarity with real estate contracts, including LOIs and leases
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Ability to align key stakeholders around a vision and to make timely recommendations based on insight, data, and influence.
  • Experience with StarRez Housing Database strongly preferred
  • Proven capability in data management and/or data analysis
  • Fluent in English, excellent written and verbal

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $99,900 - $115,000 + annual bonus.  Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
