Sr. Manager – Brand Marketing, Employment

 

We are seeking a talented Senior Marketing Manager to own and evolve the Vail Resorts Employment Brand, marketing strategy and campaigns to drive talent acquisition across the enterprise.

You will elevate the employment brand strategy and execution, differentiating Vail Resorts as a world class employer of choice.  This role is responsible for the brand’s awareness, its reputation and the sophisticated and nuanced strategies of how the brand comes to life across the enterprise from headquarters to large and small resorts across North America.

 

You will also have full responsibility and accountability for all top of funnel marketing strategy and execution to drive acquisition of seasonal and year round talent.  You will demonstrate strategic skills, leadership, and a highly developed set of marketing, analytics, and management skills that can translate into successful acquisition of over 100,000 applications and over 20,000 hires annually.

 

You will play a leadership role on the Enterprise Content Strategy team, a central function that drives world class content strategy and execution across the enterprise.  As manager of a Sr. Specialist for Employment Marketing, you will be expected to attract, retain and develop strong leaders through coaching and professional development.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative marketing strategies; get out-front of the competition and trends; rethink the status-quo, be innovative, and employ a data-driven analytical business approach.
  • Deploy, measure and optimize all top-of-funnel marketing strategies & campaigns to achieve target number of seasonal & year-round candidate impressions, visits and applications according to defined priorities & budgets ($750,000 in FY21).
  • Utilize varied reporting systems to compile and analyze data across all marketing channels to develop data-driven strategies that continually optimize ROI and increase the quantity and quality of applicants.
  • Own strategy and execution of marketing channels including all forms of paid media (print, radio, display, programmatic PPC, paid search, job boards, etc.), CRM, social media, collateral and full ownership of the Vail Resorts careers website.
  • Direct creation of content and creative assets for advertising, CRM, all digital platforms, promotions, collateral, and all other brand communication platforms.
  • Welcome and integrate newly acquired resorts into the Vail Resorts Employment Brand, updating both the local brand and GTM process and ownership.
  • Hire and direct creative agency partners, contractors, employment networks, job boards, and other key vendors to deliver creative assets and marketing executions, holding them accountable to timelines, budgets and results.
  • Rigorously manage budgets with focused discipline related to forecasts.
  • Build powerful relationships with multiple partners across Vail Resorts including HR, IT, Resorts, Communications, all Marketing functions and other divisions to achieve business goals.
  • Serve as a leader in both Marketing and Talent Acquisition, working closely with other leaders to achieve priorities for Vail Resorts’ strategic priorities.
