We are currently in search of an IT Reservations & Sales Analyst to support our rapidly evolving reservations technology. This analyst is excited by new challenges, able to work at a rapid pace, driven to always move forward, curious, open and honest, organized and diligent in prioritizing work.  This position works closely with other analysts and business partners, focusing on providing day to day IT support and participating on projects. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of delivering the next generation of reservations technology.

 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Participate in the development of business, functional, and technical requirements related to the Inntopia application, including facilitation of business stakeholders and preparation of functional specifications, use cases and other documentation.
  • Provide operational support for product applications and interfaces, utilizing the Heat and Jira systems, including weekend on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Perform ongoing support and maintenance tasks as well as routine annual duties. 
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide data to the user community as requested.
  • Write ad-hoc MS-SQL queries as needed and review vendor delivered MS-SQL scripts
  • Participate in focus groups to solicit user feedback based on current system usage and desired future system enhancements.
  • Ensure all work follows the SDLC process, meets SOX and PCI requirements, and maintain all required supporting documentation. Ensure all risk and compliance obligations are met.
  • Execution of Project tasks as assigned.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels.  
  • Proven track record using analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills:

  • Inntopia experience and training preferred; RPOS experience helpful
  • Exposure to  MS Development Technologies, including VB6, .Net, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, etc
  • Process and technical writing skills
  • Strong technical aptitude including knowledge of Reservations operational processes
  • Able to working on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, executing tasks on time and on budget
  • Ability to solve a wide range of technical problems of diverse scope and complexity
  • Ability to follow up consistently to ensure resolution
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated customer-focused, service-first attitude
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science/MIS/Software Engineering or related experience through training and/or work experience
