Job Summary
The Sr. Analyst, Employment and Internal Investigations (Investigator) works directly with the Legal and Human Resources teams to investigate complex and high-risk matters, including violations of company policies, workplace disputes and equal employment opportunity issues, and other matters concerning financial, safety, and reputational issues for the company. You will partner with diverse stakeholders throughout the company to mitigate risk and achieve high levels of compliance, accuracy, and quality in investigations, reporting, and resolution of issues. You will also analyze data and metrics to proactively identify trends and issues to mitigate current and future risk.


Job Responsibilities
•    Conducts, plans, coordinates, and leads investigations, including conducting interviews, reviewing documents, site visits (limited and as needed), reviewing personnel records and past practices, creating investigation plans, and making finding of facts.
•    Acts as a neutral party, and promotes a balanced perspective and objective investigation outcome.
•    Listens, identifies, and distills crucial information needed to assess and resolve problems identified during investigations.
•    Works collaboratively with others, develops effective working relationships, maintains confidences, and exercises sound judgment and discretion, especially in dealing with sensitive, high-risk, and complex legal and HR issues and situations.
•    Encourages trust and builds positive relationships with HR, Legal, Employment Law, and various Operational teams based in geographically-dispersed locations.
•    Organizes, synthesizes, and analyzes information, problems, and data, including quarterly reporting on investigations and metrics.


Job Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree
•    At least 4 years of investigation experience, with a preference for experience investigating EEO, ADA, and employment-related complaints, as well as interpreting policies and regulations
•    Ability to analyze and synthesize key insights gleaned from investigation data and analytics
•    Experience conducting sophisticated investigations, including interview methods, techniques, data analysis, reporting
•    Ability to capture data, analyze sophisticated problems, evaluate alternatives and make sound recommendations on investigations
•    Experience in a matrixed, fast-paced and rapidly-changing business environment
•    Proven track record of balancing priorities, partners and work streams
•    Solid understanding of applicable employment laws, policies, regulations, and procedures
•    Exercise independent judgment and initiative within established guidelines and present recommendations logically and persuasive
•    Exercises tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues
•    Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

The budgeted range starts at $80,000 - $97,700 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
