The Manager, Change and Culture Communications will lead design and execution of internal content and communications campaigns associated with organizational transformation, culture, and integration projects across Vail Resorts. This person will be a high-output creator of thoughtful, well-crafted content; a detail-oriented project manager; and a careful listener and collaborator who can partner with people across and at all levels of the organization.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute complex communications campaigns that support small-and large-scale change and culture efforts and utilize a variety of channels, including email, newsletters, webpages, video, and social.
  • Create and edit content that is clear, accurate and compelling and aligns with our internal brand, culture, and style guidelines.
  • Conduct research and journalistic interviews to craft human-centered stories that inform and inspire.
  • Design and facilitate meetings with stakeholders.
  • Partner with employee communications analyst to ensure change and culture content is aligned with broader employee communications editorial calendar.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of communications strategies through data reporting and analysis and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic thought partnership to other members of the team, actively sharing opinions and feedback regarding the direction of change and culture efforts

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Content Management System (e.g. wordpress or other), Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Must be fluent in English
  • AP Style experience
  • Masterful storytelling and impeccable written, oral, and visual communication skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, ability to bring stakeholders on a journey
  • Capacity to serve as a trusted communications counselor to internal leaders and peers
  • Ability to juggle multiple communications projects at once and comfort navigating an incredibly complex, matrixed, fast-paced global organization that is always changing and growing
  • Demonstrated commitment to understanding and incorporating the perspectives of a diverse set of stakeholders, across race, gender, sexuality, ability, ethnicity, and geography
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with individuals across and at all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Initiative and ability to work independently, meeting challenges with a can-do attitude

 

 The budgeted range starts at $80,000 - $97,700 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
