Job Summary: 


As an HR Technology Business Analyst, you will partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits and other business users to understand business requirements and then develop and test technology solutions. This position must have a solid foundation for both software QA and QA automation. The purpose of the role is to maintain and enhance the existing HR Technology ecosystem with quality assurance support and building out new test automation solutions. This role will plan and implement the architecture for our automation platform.


Essential Job Responsibilities: 

  • Execute and Report on System Integration Testing working with developers and business stakeholders to ensure successful testing.
  • Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business and its processes. Conducts analysis, identifies root causes and provides recommendations that influence business solutions.
  • Open to learning additional technologies and integration practices to include recruiting, performance management, employee portal, data warehousing, and eLearning.
  • Adhere to standard software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently and provide suggested priorities to supervisor.
  • Actively participate and take personal ownership in career through self-assessments, mid-year and annual reviews, goal setting and performance management.
  • Create reusable, extendable and automated test scripts by influencing "design for testing" strategies within the HR TechnologyTeam.
  • Adapts to growth and change, is open to and generates new ideas. Handles pressure well, adjusts plans to meet the changing needs of a rapidly growing organization while simultaneously looking for foundational improvements
  • Assist in the review and testing of HR Systems (SuccessFactors, Saba, PeopleSoft HCM, Service Now) upgrades or patches.
  • Effectively identify process inefficiencies and make appropriate suggestions for modifications.
  • Consistently demonstrate analytical thinking both through verbal and non-verbal communications that is consumable by peers and management.


Job Requirements: 

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years HR Systems experience
  • Strong PC skills with the Microsoft suite including, Access, Excel, Project, Word and Visio required
  • Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes.
  • Knowledge of HR Processes and Data


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with HR applications, including SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Service Now
