Job Summary:

The Mountain Food and Beverage (F&B) Organization is committed to enhancing the dining experience across 300+ outlets in Vail Resort’s North American portfolio, focusing on operational excellence and data-driven insights. The F&B Program Analyst will help enable Food & Beverage Strategy initiatives by supporting F&B beverage program and supporting the F&B Department as a Central Support Team (CST) member. This role will also support overall Central F&B Strategy, facilitating data driven initiatives, ensuring the seamless execution of enterprise programs, and providing direct support to in-resort F&B Leaders. Success in this role requires analytical expertise, project management experience, and the ability to provide direct operational support in regional and enterprise-level operations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders (In-resort F&B Leaders, Procurement & Sourcing, Strategic Alliance, Resort Marketing, Hospitality etc) to align, develop and implement business requirements; participate in solution design, quality assurance, and execution
  • Assist Sr. Beverage Manager with external partner relationship management and communications
  • Support tracking of event & activation scheduling between different groups for resort & outlet calendar, maintaining accuracy of information across multiple platforms with multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Build and manage dashboards related to beverage program & performance; support with programming decisions related to product performance and findings
  • Serve as a point of contact for in-resort F&B leadership on non-alcoholic beverage programs, including but not limited to intake request forms, preventative maintenance, and marketing materials
  • Monthly review of resort & outlet level alcohol purchasing data and translation into compliancy metric based on level of segmentation
  • Own recipe development documentation for all culinary development
  • Maintain allergen accuracy for all known F&B specified products semi-annually
  • Support Enterprise F&B deliverables, tactics and direct field support as part of the larger F&B Central Support Team

 

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise programs, with a focus on data analysis, reporting, and client management.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably front of house (FOH)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite – especially Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet and SharePoint
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in change management and communications development
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and communicate effectively with varying levels of leadership
  • Experience in program governance and the development of tools to ensure enterprise-wide program success
  • Some travel expected – Sourcing direct feedback with in-resort users, conducting audits spot checks and trainings

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Tecnology, Hospitality Science or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical documentation
  • Experience with purchasing systems, such as Coupa or similar platforms

 

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $67,000 - $74,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
