Job Summary

The role of Designer is an incredible opportunity to join a world-class marketing organization and be a key player in our new internal agency and creative team.

You will apply your creative talents across our destination resort brands. From concepting campaigns to designing for traditional and digital channels, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver amazing work while achieving business goals.

A strong creative approach is required, with the ability to not only understand the business challenge, but a hunger to understand the how the creative performs in market to inform future projects. This individual should have a strong point of view and understanding of the data and best practices that drives performance.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing or business objectives through clear creative content
  • Work within the brand guidelines in collaboration with cross-functional creative leadership teams
  • Ensure designs and content reflect the brand image and company ideals consistently and positively
  • Partner with creative team members, art and copy, to create world-class content and concepts
  • Keep a pulse on new and emerging formats and present thought leadership of new creative approaches to solve business problems
  • Take constructive feedback and apply it to creative
  • Keep a pulse on progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution, anticipating problems that may impede a project from being completed on time and implement solutions
  • Support and encourage creative team members to foster a positive work environment
  • Have personal accountability for the balance of productivity and creativity with the ability to lead in an agile and fast paced environment
  • Develop a collaborative relationship between the marketing and creative teams, providing the perspective of the work with an open minded outlook to clients or upper management
  • Leverage and innovate the way creative is developed utilizing a DAM
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for strategic enhancements to creative systems and processes and defines creative best practices
  • Present creative strategies and concepts to stakeholders in both sell-in and collaborative environments

 

Job Requirements

Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience in design or art direction, agency and/or client side
  • Experience with a creative software programs Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator; Sketch; InVison; and project management software

 

Preferred:

  • Stellar design, art direction, and visual eye that can creatively solve business objectives
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform and develop creative work
  • Stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving skills
  • Experience with a complex GTM process with many brands is a plus
  • Experience working with and leveraging Digital Asset Management tools for creative development (Adobe) a plus
  • Excellent attention to design detail and exceptionally organized
  • Enjoys solving problems and finding process efficiencies in an innovative, creative and dynamic environment
  • Enthusiastic and postive demeanor
  • Ability to maintain composure in a high-pressure environment while overseeing multiple projects of competing priorities and complexity without compromising quality or brand standards

The budgeted range starts at $50,000 - $60,900.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
