Job Summary:
The Vail Resorts Legal team is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of commercial contracting, brand initiatives, and technology. This position is primarily responsible for supporting management of the Company’s commercial contracting portfolio across the enterprise and supporting marketing-related initiatives, with secondary support for technology and IT matters. This role reports to the Senior Contracts & Leasing Counsel, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Senior Commercial Counsel (IT and Marketing), ensuring alignment across key functional legal areas. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to navigate complexity. They will be skilled at identifying material risks, delivering clear and actionable legal guidance, and balancing legal considerations with business objectives. The expected Total Compensation for this role is $145,000 - $160,000 + Annual Bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
