Associate Analyst: Credit – Vail Resorts Retail


The Vail Resorts Retail (VRR) Associate Credit Analyst is an integral part of ensuring appropriate and accurate VRR credit accounts are maintained for wholesalers. The VRR Associate Credit Analyst will ensure accuracy of account billing in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal controls. Additionally, the Associate Analyst is a point of contact for all AR questions and dispute resolutions. This role will assist the Credit Analyst with various duties related to AR with VRR.


·       Maintaining VRR accounts receivable customers including understanding terms, limits, set up, training, maintenance, and ongoing billing.

·       Assists with on-going analysis of assigned accounts to ensure accuracy, resolve outstanding issues, and manage through the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end process.

·       Analyzes and prepares journal entries and account reconciliations.

·       Assists with daily gift card requests from stores

·       Managing business licenses (including renewal, payments and initial set up as needed)

·       Assists with analysis and completes communication of any balance sheet fluctuations on assigned accounts.

·       Support acquisition integrations.

·       Collaborate with both internal teams and outside partners.

·       Perform additional ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.

·       Ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

·       Evaluates and re-imagines current processes to maximize efficiencies.



·       Bachelor’s degree required.

·       The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting/finance knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

·       Experience with Microsoft Office products is essential.

·       Knowledge of the PeopleSoft financial system is a plus.

·       This individual must be a self-starter with a drive for excellence, able to build strong working relationships throughout the organization, and a proven ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
