VAIL RESORTS COMMITMENT TO EMPLOYEES

Our mission is to deliver an Experience of a Lifetime for our employees and guests. We know that this winter, more people than ever want to be outside, they want to escape, they want to feel the exhilaration and freedom our sport offers. Our goal for the season is to ensure the experience at our resorts is Epic for Everyone by welcoming everyone to our company, resorts and communities as we grow our sport and keeping safety as our top priority while we continue to navigate the impact of COVID-19. What does this mean for you? As always, we hold ourselves accountable to living our Core Values and are committing to employees that we will provide a safe, rewarding, connected Experience of a Lifetime.

WORKING TOGETHER TO BE SAFE

It takes the compassion, care and personal responsibility of everyone to help us ensure a safe mountain experience for all. With that in mind, we have reimagined the resort experience to further prioritize the health and safety of our employees in response to COVID-19. Safety has always been one of our core values and we invite you to learn more below about the new procedures and protocols being implemented with your safety in mind.

We will ensure our workplace is safe and our employees remain healthy through the season.

We will ensure employees participate in safety training that applies to their roles.

We will provide easy access via EpicEmployee for employees to complete their mandatory daily health screenings to ensure no one with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 is in the workplace.

We will have clear policies and procedures around face coverings and other safety measures and will provide appropriate cleaning and disinfecting supplies throughout the workplace.

We will train and support our employees for effective guest interactions.

We will provide Emergency Sick Leave, in accordance with our policies and as required by law, for eligible employees who are required to miss work due to exposure to, or illness related to, COVID-19.

We will provide a structured support system for employees’ mental wellbeing through Epic Wellness.

We will continue to support employees by funding EpicPromise Foundation emergency grants in the event of a crisis situation.

Have Fun & Drive Value | Rewards & Development

We are committed to staffing the business based upon anticipated skier visits so all employees feel successful in the job they are committed to doing and have the opportunity to work hours that align with their full-time or part-time work status. Your specific schedule will be determined by your manager and may vary based on business demands.

We will work as one team – where appropriate we will staff employees across different areas of our business to ensure the optimal guest experience and provide employees with varied work experiences and exposure.

We will recognize our employees for their commitment to our Company’s highest callings of our Core Values and the Experience of a Lifetime. Through structured recognition programs, we will give peers, people leaders, and senior leadership teams the ability to recognize employees with tangible rewards and experiences.

We will offer employee and dependent ski passes, as well as discounted tickets for Friends and Family, which may be subject to local blackout periods.

We will offer perks such as discounted food (including employee $5 meals), lodging discounts and retail discounts, subject to restrictions and blackout times.

We believe everyone at Vail Resorts is a leader, and we will offer robust leadership development programs and job-related training programs.

Serve Others, Do Good & Be Inclusive | Connection and Community

We will give employees the opportunity to connect safely through re-imagined employee gatherings and events that align to company COVID-19 guidelines.

We will focus on building a connected and safe way for groups to come together to share similar interests or passions (e.g. hobbies, current-events, shared experiences etc.).

We will welcome everyone to our company, resorts and communities - Including all races, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, and other differences.
