The Lift Operations Supervisor position will oversee a dynamic team of employees. The successful applicant to this position will be someone who is able to hold their team and themselves accountable to our department's safety expectations, appearance standards, best practice compliance, and guest service expectations. They will also be passionate about creating the best possible environment, keeping morale high, and empowering the team to do their best. We are searching for a candidate with outstanding leadership skills and potential and will train the technical skills to the right applicant if needed. This position does require the candidate to be able to ski or snowboard at an advanced level.

 

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): 

  • Assist in preparation of daily scheduling, monitoring staffing levels, efficient resource management, and budget oversight.
  • Oversee team leaders and lift operators to operate within all applicable codes and standards: CPTSB, ANSI, OSHA, and USFS.
  • Work with the supervisory team through the development and implementation of programs to provide and work towards successfully meeting departmental goals.
  • Resolve guest complaints/issues.
  • Resolve employee issues, following disciplinary procedures if necessary.
  • Assist in the hiring process for team leaders and lift operators.
  • Work with the supervisory team in completing employee performance evaluations.
  • Participate with Health and Safety departments to implement safety policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma - required.
  • College Degree - preferred.
  • Mountain operations supervisory experience – preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - preferred.
  • Must be fluent in English written and verbal - required.
  • Must be an advanced skier or rider - required.

 

The budgeted range starts at $16.75 - $18.75.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
