Job Summary:

The Private Lesson Product Manager is responsible for driving the private lesson business for the Ski & Snowboard School by collaborating & liaising with the Ski & Snowboard School Operations Team and Product Sales & Services Team. This is achieved through the focus on quality control, guest and employee relations, communication, teamwork and administrative duties. He or she will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the school’s private lesson business across all three locations. This position will work with the General Managers, Location Managers, Supervisors and Administrative Assistants and all other resort departments to ensure efficient management of the department and that all stakeholder needs are met. 

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $56,485 - $67,485

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize available resources to monitor and maintain appropriate staffing for Private Lessons across 3 Ski School Locations
  • Manage staffing levels to daily guest reservations and labor margins. Ensure efficient and effective sharing of staff across all 3 locations to maximize private lesson profitability. 
  • Collaborate with Product Sales & Services Private Lesson Specialists to manage and book all requests for private lessons in a timely manner, focusing on “right pro for the right product”.
  • Work with the Ski & Snowboard School and Product Sales & Services Management Teams to support and achieve Guest Experience targets, especially within private lessons.
  • Understand, lead and model safety standards within the department and for the resort.
  • Ensure Pros are knowledgeable about our product lines, company policies and procedures, and work schedules.
  • Collaborate and Communicate with Ski & Snowboard School instructor staff to assist in managing private lesson business.
  • Resolve guest complaints by utilizing guest service guidelines and accommodate special requests when necessary.
  • Support the Peak 8 Ski & Snowboard Team in daily operations as needed.
  • Understand, lead and model the Company’s mission, vision and values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years working as a Ski/Snowboard Instructor
  • Minimum of 1 year working in Ski & Snowboard School or Product Sales & Services Mgmt.
  • PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Fluent in all aspects of the English language
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Advanced to expert level skiing/ snowboarding skills
  • Must be able to work in a high alpine environment
  • Must work well in a team
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends
  • Offers may be contingent upon a post offer background check and reference checks
  • RPOS, Guest Connect Experience
  • College degree/ experience in a relevant field
  • Experience in Product Sales & Services

 

The expected pay range is $56,485 - $67,485. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
