Job Summary:
The Regional Senior Manager of Building Maintenance (RSMBM) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of building maintenance operations across both Breckenridge and Keystone Ski Areas. This role oversees maintenance teams in each location, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality upkeep of all Mountain Division resort buildings and infrastructure, asset protection, and guest and employee
experience. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to support resort operations and guest experience. This position reports to the home resort’s Director of Base Area Operations with a direct dotted line to the either resort’s Director of Base Area Operations. Leading two resort teams, this role requires strong business acumen, strategic planning, and advanced leadership skills.

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $88,868.83 - $114,225.42 + annual bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support maintenance managers and teams across both resorts
  • Ensure timely and effective maintenance of all mountain-division resort buildings and assets, including, but not limited to, lodges, restaurants, administrative offices, and employee housing. Oversee preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and emergency repairs
  • Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets for both resorts, including, but not limited to, tracking, reporting, forecasting, planning, and accurate billing. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and life safety systems
  • Oversight and treasurer of water plant and its operation, manage contractor relationship for compliance and testing, work with HOA for billing and usage.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate contracted services in cooperation with the regional SABM Planner. Support capital projects, sustainability initiatives, and long-term planning
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits, including but limited to, fire & life safety systems (fire systems, sprinklers systems, and alarm systems).
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and capital improvement needs
  • Participate in strategic enterprise groups and resort events
  • Hire, train, develop, and evaluate team members
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment
  • Communicate professionally with staff, guests, and stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • 7+ years in building maintenance or facilities management (resort/hospitality preferred)
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing multiple teams or locations
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural)
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver high-quality results
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites
  • MS Office proficiency

The expected pay range is $88,868.83 - $114,225.42 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
