Job Summary

The Product Sales and Services  Manager works with the Breckenridge Resort Teams and guests to assure that expectations are exceeded at all levels of the resort experience

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Management of personnel to include hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Create authentic connections with others; inspire trust and manage expectations while empowering  others to share in the decision making and work processes and holding others accountable to be their best and achieve great results.
  • Detailed knowledge of all Breckenridge Products and related systems while developing a team, which recognizes all up-sell opportunities as they occur.
  • Resolve all customer issues that may arise and complete the service recovery process.
  • Create a fluid and enjoyable experience for our guests. Deliver accurate and regular communication to guests and staff through tradional, electronic, digital and social media platforms
  • Lead team performance management by upholding our standards while completing mid-season and end of season performance appraisals for direct reports.
  • Develop a management tean alligned with Vail Resorts goals and values.
  • Work with BPS, Finance, Marketing and others to ensure BSR has the requirded products for operations.
  • Be forward thinking and one-step ahead of the needs of the business, our guest's expectations, and your leader; act fast to changing dynamics.
  • Lead our Epic Promise efforts around community engagement and sustainability.
  • Manage operation to accurately process all issues regarding lift access products, season passes, and to ensure positive guest service 
  • Provide feedback in development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Lead Ski School service recovery efforts on a daily basis at their assigned work location.

 

Job Requirements

Required:

  • High School Diploma  or equivalent
  • Previous experience with Vail Resorts RPOS & Guest Connect
  • Previous work in guest services, preferably with Vail Resorts
  • 5 years of managerial experience with demonstrable financial and performance management responsibilities. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Guest Connect and RPOS Reporting
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be comfortable regularly working outdoors
  • Must be able to complete an intermediate skiing assessment. (Blue Runs) 

 

Preferred:

  • College level education
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish
  • Previous work experience cash handling
