Job Summary:

The Manager of Lift Experience is responsible for the year round supervision and operation of resort lift operations and ticket/pass verification. Directly oversee all aspects of the Lift Experience Team: Lift Operations and Scanning Pass validation team members with safety awareness, standards compliance, and guest service. Develop and Drive Company and department goals to the lift experience leadership group and staff. Establish and maintain close working relationships with; Lift maintenance, PSS, ski patrol, ski school, and fostering good working relationships with all other.

  • Expected Pay Range: $55,000 - $71,131 + annual bonus
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time Year Round

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of daily operation, ticket/pass verification for year-round operations
  • Effective Communication with all internal and external partners, including supervisory staff, management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in preparation in department budgets, monitoring staffing levels, and efficient resource management.
  • Oversee Supervisors and Training to operate within all applicable codes and standards: C.P.T.S.B., ANSI, OSHA, and USFS.
  • Work with the Senior Lift Experience Manager in leading the lift experience management team through the development and implementation of all necessary department programs to provide for: staffing, training, safety, goal setting, employee performance and discipline, employee retention and incentive, payroll, work comp., code compliance and record keeping.
  • Participate with Mountain Operations leadership group.
  • Resolve guest complaints/issues.
  • Resolve employee issues.
  • Hire the lift experience supervisory and lead groups.
  • Work with the Senior Manager in completion of employee performance evaluations on lift operations supervisory group.
  • Participate with Health and Safety departments to develop uniform policies and safety initiatives.
  • Interact with all other resort and corporate departments as it pertains to the Lift Experience.
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Education
  • Previous experience within a Lift Operations or Scanning Team
  • Leadership Experience as a Supervisor/Manager
  • Strong understanding of MS Platforms, Legion
  • Intermediate Skier or Snowboarder

Preferred:

  • Experience with Lift Maintenance
  • Experience with Product Sales and Services
  • Understanding of PeopleSoft, Coupa, Legion

 

The expected pay range is $55,000 - $71,131 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
