As of Nov. 15, 2021, Vail Resorts will be requiring all employees across North America to be vaccinated for COVID-19. 

 

Day to day oversight of Lift parts and tools.  Oversee inventory control and compliance within all on mountain shops.  Manage and organization of main shop to ensure safe and efficient work environment.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Effectively track and follow up on all purchase orders and requisitions from creation to invoice fulfillment.
  • Responsible for maintaining timely and accurate inventory counts.
  • Effectively communicate parts order status and availability with Lift Maintenance techs, Lift Electrical techs, and management.
  • Create and establish a strong working relationship with procurement and all vendors Lift Maintenance uses.
  • Maintain all shop facilities and equipment to ensure safe and efficient work environment.
  • Must work efficiently in a team oriented environment.
  • Be able to research parts to be ordered using build books and other resources.
  • Maintain and track budget for Lift parts and consumables.
  • Assist Lift Maintenance techs in field in winter and summer.
  • Be actively involved in Lift Mechanical and Electrical emergency procedures and time dependent repairs.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures within Lift Maintenance Department.
  • Able to use forklift and similar machines.

 

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Microsoft Office/Excel knowledge
  • Ability to work well in team environment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
  • Fluent in all aspects of the English language
  • Flexibility with work schedule
  • Be able to work outside in all weather conditions

The budgeted range starts at $21.59-$33.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
