Job Summary:
As a Specialist Events you’ll be part of a team focused on the daily tasks involved in the operations of our on-mountain events from the setup of the site, through the execution of the event to tear down and clean up once the event is over. You will gain valuable work experience and learn efficient work practices which will be transferable to many future employment opportunities.
Job Specifications:
Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.44 / hour
Shift & Schedule Availability: Part Time
Skill Level: Advanced
Job Responsibilities:
Organize operational schedule & calendar in conjunction with event schedule.
Communicate all upcoming events via Event Prospectus.
Manage logistics support for all on mountain events.
Manage ongoing communication for all mountain division departments regarding on mountain operations with the potential to impact events.
Support day of event logistics.
Provide Safety and Operations plans for all events, to be attached to Event Prospectus.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a supervisor or manager in mountain operations or event management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Prior experience with scheduling.
Must be able to effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form to guests and employees.
Preferred able to lift at 50 pounds or more.
The expected pay range is $22.00 - $27.44. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
