Job Summary:
Lead Public Safety Officers provide frontline Public Safety services while supervising shift operations and supporting team performance. Leads serve as working supervisors, ensuring consistent service delivery, effective response to incidents, and a high‑quality guest experience.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $26.55/hr
- Employment Type: Year Round
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Public Safety Officers during assigned shifts.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and on‑the‑job training to team members.
- Assist in scheduling, Time and labor approval, task assignments, and ensuring shift coverage.
- Conduct quality checks on reports, patrol duties, and guest interactions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated guest or safety issues.
- Coordinate response to emergencies including fire, medical, and security incidents.
- Patrol resort property, monitor access points, and ensure policy compliance.
- Monitor CCTV systems and radio communications.
- Train employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and loss‑prevention practices.
- Investigate incidents involving accidents, injuries, or suspicious activity.
- Prepare accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation.
- Assist in interdepartmental communication and support special events.
- Model professional conduct and set expectations for team performance.
- Mentor new and existing staff to support their development.
- Provide feedback to management on team performance and operational needs.
- Lead briefings to communicate daily priorities, weather impacts, and safety concerns.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and evaluation processes as requested.
- Promote a positive, safety‑focused culture built on teamwork and service excellence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (required)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks (required)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (required)
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays (required)
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, EMS, or fire (preferred)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.55/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
