Afton Alps is looking for an experienced administrative assistant for our Competitive Services Team.  This position is a Part Time, Seasonal position.  

 

 Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist Competitive Services Lead with race event operations.
    • Daily communications with Coaches and Event Coordinators
    • Manage and execute High School team race day rosters and results.
    • Manage Event race day data, registrations, and results.
    • Manage training lane schedule.
  • Assist MRL Coordinator with race league operations:
    • Daily communications with league members.
    • League registration, organization and data management.
  • Assist with set up, monitoring, maintenance and the tear down of race venues.
  • Learn timing system equipment, software, and procedures.
  • Communicate with Competitive Services Lead, MRL Coordinator, and other Competitive Service Team Members.
  • Responsible for safety training and documentation.
  • Make safety a top priority.
  • Work with other staff and departments to promote a positive guest experience.

 Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to, and sometimes more than, 20lbs - required.
  • Available to work select weekday’s and week nights-required.
  • Available to work weekends and holiday’s
  • Basic computer navigation skills and ability to use Windows-based programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Racing background - preferred.
