Job summary:
The primary focus of this position is to consistently meet & exceed the expectations of our internal and external guests through leadership development, top level guest experiences and service, & supervision of the daily operations of our ski and ride school. To keep our employees safe while at work. To support & develop your instructor team during their time with us.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $52,000 - $56,000 yearly
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:
Team
- To work towards zero employee injuries in the work place
- To meet\exceed expectation of our “on snow observation” program
- Assist in the development of the new and returning instructors in your area
- Assist in the development and presentation of training for your staff
- Oversee H.R. practices and procedures within your area including but not limited to; pay, recognition, and progressive discipline
- To be an active contributor of Supervisor meetings and to be adaptable to change when needed
Guest
- To “create memories & learning inspired through encouragement, accomplishment and friendship”
- Knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb products, special events, promotions, policies and procedures
- To oversee operational routines and all related procedures at your location
- Contact internal and external guests within specific time frames to solicit feedback and provide follow up
Results
- To monitor and review employee injury claims and work towards an increased awareness of “safety of self” in the workplace
- To be aware and monitor class ratios, daily scheduling and monitoring over time hours
Job Requirements:

- Excellent communication, organizational and guest service skills
- Highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic and professional personality
- 1-2yrs in a supervisory role in some capacity
- Level 2 CSIA or CASI – desirable
- Previous experience in staff training and development
- Proven ability to coach and mentor young staff
- Capable of working effectively in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
