Position Status: Full Time, Salary, Year Round


Job Summary: HOUSE is Whistler Blackcomb’s employee housing operations.  Your main objective will be to drive a positive HOUSE experience by ensuring the delivery of the HOUSE mission: We will provide a safe, healthy, affordable home.  Our diverse mountain community fosters individual growth through adventure. This role makes day to day decisions affecting resident’s stays in HOUSE and policies that contribute to the overall success of HOUSE.


Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, hire, train and develop Front Desk employees
  • Provide friendly, helpful service to our residents.
  • Create revenue and occupancy strategies that synchronize with operational strategies.
  • Manage HOUSE’s operating systems and payment systems
  • Oversee collections/arrears and over/short reconciliation
  • Work with divisional HOUSE champions to organize and manage the bed allotment process to ensure maximum occupancy
  • Manage special group stays and billing along with growing and expanding summer business.
  • Oversee the issuing of Occupancy Agreements as required.
  • Oversee and implement communication between all areas of HOUSE and residents.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Continually strive to improve our services and our ability to respond to resident requests.
  • Build and promote HOUSE through positive relations with House team, residents, guests, external employees and neighbours as required.
  • Innovate around the resident experience by contributing, initiating and implementing new ideas in a team environment

  • Excellent, organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Passionate, engaged and motivated to work with young people.
  • Detailed, accurate, organized and disciplined.
  • Computer literate on MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
  • Conflict resolution and mediation skills essential.
  • Knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb an asset.
  • Operating a vehicle is an essential function of this position and will require the applicant to meet the minimum requirements of the Whistler Blackcomb Driver’s Standards Policy.
