Front of House Catering Staff execute the set-up, service and tear down of all Whistler Blackcomb
private functions, including weddings, corporate events, internal functions, and social gatherings.
Events are executed at a number of Whistler Blackcomb restaurant locations including the Roundhouse
Lodge, the Rendevous, the GLC and Dusty’s.

Job Duties:

  • To deliver the Experience of a Lifetime our guests, clients and employees
  • Responsible for buffet set-up and service, table setting, wine and drink service, plated dinner
  • service, cocktail reception set-up and service, bartending, bussing and stewarding
  • Being knowledgeable about all event details from briefing, such as itinerary, menu and drink service
  • Delivering epic service to our guests and maintaining a high level of presentation
  • Resolving any guest problems effectively and professionally
  • Responsible for proper care and storage of catering equipment
  • Event tear down and re-setting of floorplans
  • General cleaning duties
  • We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist
  • in other areas as needed

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 1 year serving, bartending or banquet service is required
  • Must be highly flexible with work schedule
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during a shift
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • 19 years of age and a BC Serving it Right Certificate
  • Uniform and footwear are not provided, employee dress code must be followed


Position Status: Part-time 16-34 hours per week, Holiday Help less than 16 hours per week Reporting structure:


Reports to Catering Manager.
