Duties:

  • To continually strive to exceed our Guest’s expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience again and again
  • Help to create a work place that encourages success, stimulates learning, and safeguards your well-being by sharing your thoughts and ideas
  • Strive to earn our customers’ business every day, engage our suppliers with integrity and respect, and treat all as you wish to be treated

  • Participate in departmental meetings, work-related discussions and personal/team performance evaluation programs
  • Perform order entry and correct coding system tasks including order acceptance and entry, purchase order receiving, transfer/requisition handling, receiving product into Coupa (our in-house procurement system), plus related filing and archiving
  • Investigation into invoices, accruals and supplier payments when necessary
  • Ensure daily communication with all involved stakeholders, including but not limited to, outside suppliers, other business units, the F&B warehouse, and coworkers
  • Act as first point-of-contact for our internal and external customers for issues related to ordering, deliveries, inventory and transaction research, responding in a timely and helpful manner
  • Produce reports as needed
  • Have the ability to sit for extended periods of time and execute tasks which may involve repetition
  • We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments as needed.

  • Remain up-to-date on information provided in the Food & Beverage Operations Policies and Procedures manual and the Whistler/Blackcomb Employee Handbook

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate our core values: Serves Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe and Have Fun
  • Previous customer service experience, email and phone communication an asset
  • A predilection for mathematics, numbers and accounting is desirable
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office/Excel and computer systems
  • Previous exposure to Coupa, OnBase and SharePoint is a bonus
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active listener and supportive team player
  • Multi-task and work well under the pressure of time constraints, demanding customers and frequent interruptions
  • Effective task prioritization and organizational skills
  • Must be neat and detail-oriented
  • Satisfactory criminal record check
