As a Product Sales Agent, you will receive a high level of guest interaction and will be the face of Whistler Blackcomb! Product Sales Agents resolve guests’ product/ticket issues, coordinate and book bike school lessons, facilitate refunds and respond to guest inquiries with quality information about the resort. We are looking for guest service individuals who are positive, outgoing, operate with a high level of computer proficiency, have a passion for the outdoors, are well disciplined, and take pride in their work. Product Sales Agents will maintain a professional, positive and supportive work environment that enables a strong cohesive team to ensure an "experience of a lifetime" for all guests. This is achieved through focus on quality control, training, staff performance through development, teamwork, communication, administrative duties and self-development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous guest service work experience 
  • Point of Sale service experience 
  • Previous cash handling experience 

Required Qualifications:

  • Willingness to train and work in multiple departments. This role is partnered with Retail Associate where you will be expected to be fully trained and expected to work in both areas
  • Willingness to work 35-40 hours per week (full time) or 16+ hours per week across 3-4 days (part time)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to stay enthusiastic and perform well when busy
  • Ability to work inside and outside, and stand on your feet without sitting for long periods of time
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform all duties safely, and understand the high importance of safety in the workplace
  • Ability to pick up additional shifts depending on business volumes

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Delivering outstanding guest service while facilitating the sale of Lift Tickets, Season Passes, and fulfilling pre-purchased sales orders
  • Accurately and efficiently process lift access products while capturing guest data
  • Ability to learn, understand and effectively communicate multiple product types to guests and can easily adapt to changing prices and product offerings
  • Make suitable recommendations on products to meet the guest’s needs and the business objectives
  • Sell all programs available at Whistler Blackcomb and offer guidance in regards to Snow School programs, lift and pass products, & rentals appropriate to the needs of our guests while being pro-active in selling.
  • Complete walk-up and daily fulfillment tasks for guests who have booked online.
  • Ensure safety and waiver protocol is followed accurately for all guests.
  • Work closely with the Snow School, and the Retail/Rental teams, to be better able to assist guests in these areas alongside assisting these departments during high-volume times.
  • Understand all functions of Guest Connect to be able to fully perform all duties expected of the position.
  • Communicate with co-workers any information they may need to provide a better service to our guests.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of customer interaction while delivering exceptional guest service; internal and external
  • Creating a fun and professional work experience while communicating in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Promoting, embracing, and adhering to Vail Resorts’ Mission and Core Values
  • Perform daily sales and closing procedures and be held responsible for your end of day point of sale audit
  • Work on a computer with a high degree of accuracy and efficient speed
  • Follow company/department policies and procedures
  • Participate in resort and departmental trainings and development courses
  • Cross-train and work in all areas/locations of PSS which also include scanning, ELTP and greeting at our PSS and maze locations
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work area and report any areas of concern
  • Perform other duties when required
