Job Summary:   

The trail maintenance crew member is responsible for assisting in general trail maintenance, installing and maintaining erosion control measures, participating in revegetation efforts, and any other environmental related activity.  The trail maintenance crew member will be responsible for implementing and practicing safety throughout each and every day.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Lead and supervise team of Trail Maintenance Crew  
  • Determine the correct tools needed to complete assigned tasks and keep track of the tools to ensure they return at the end of the day and are properly stored for the night.  
  • Safely execute all functions by evaluating immediate surroundings  
  • Ensure that the proper PPE is being used for self and others  
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the tools and equipment  
  • Has a clear understanding of access roads and travel paths  
  • Other duties as assigned  

 

Job Requirements:   

  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds  
  • Communicate effectively in English   
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours and schedule  
  • 2+ years of trail maintenance experience
