Job Summary:
Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Whistler Heli Skiing and our Ground Support team is no exception to ensuring this experience of a lifetime. Responsible for engaging in a variety of logistical duties to ensure our guests and operations are well taken care of, the Ground Support Lead is a dynamic role and a key player in the successful roll out of daily operations.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $22.00/hr -$27.73/hr 
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026  
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  
  • Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage ski and snowboard rental fleet including equipment set up for guests.
  • Prepare Commercial vehicles for operation via pre trip inspections
  • Deliver Lunches to helicopters and assist with loading rescue equipment
  • Assist with transport of injured guests and workers via truck from staging areas
  • when necessary and be willing to be an active member of the Emergency Response Plan.
  • Maintain a safe work and guest environment;clearing snow and managing slippery surfaces and building upkeep
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license required
  • Willing to obtain Class 4 Unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Willing to obtain Rental Technician Certification
  • Willing to obtain Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English, additional languages are a benefit
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Responsible and dependable with ability to work independently and multi task to achieve daily responsibilities in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to lift and transport 50 to 100 pounds with or without assistance
  • Ability to frequently walk/stand, sit/climb, balance, stoop/kneel, crouch/crawl, and reach throughout the course of work in all climate conditions
