Job Summary: Employee Services is an extremely fast-paced and highly social environment. You will have the opportunity to interact with and positively affect almost every single employee within the Whistler Blackcomb team. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  •         Provide exceptional service and follow up by answering all employee inquiries, questions and complaints in person, by phone and email.
  •        Onboarding all new and returning Whistler Blackcomb employees and updating their personal documentation into the hiring system
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with all material within the HR/Employee Services Division.
  •        Communicating with other Whistler Blackcomb departments to trouble shoot any hiring issues that may arise
  •        Distributing and collecting uniform including laundering and repairs
  •         Providing lockers to eligible employees/volunteers, alongside updating and maintaining the locker waitlist/audits.
  •          Regularly maintaining the stock and inventory control of the winter and summer employee uniforms.
  •          Maintaining the day to day operations of the employee services desk. Carrying out the daily opening and closing procedures.
  •          Distribute employee/volunteer passes, dependent passes, nametags and keys. Assist in maintaining access to the Springs building and Springs Lane Gate.
  •          Promote Whistler Blackcomb employee programs and recognition (Club Shred, Awards, Enviro Fund etc)
  •          We are a team that works closely together and throughout the season you may be required to assist with other departments as needed.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate our core values: Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe and Have Fun.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office. Knowledge in previous POS systems is an asset.
  • Outgoing personality, enthusiastic attitude and great customer service skills.
  • Able to work in a small team environment and manage certain projects alone and unsupervised
  • Be a self-starter. Seeing projects that need doing and start them without being told to do so
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Previous stock and inventory control an asset.
  • Knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb its operations and systems is an asset
  • Proof of clear criminal record check.
