Job Summary:
The Employee Housing Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of cleaning as it relates to employee housing at Whistler Blackcomb. They will coordinate and schedule work orders and cleaning prioritization of their team of cleaners to ensure business objectives are met. They will oversee employee training, ensuring that company standards are followed. They will help provide an Experience of Lifetime for our employees, which includes creating a safe, inclusive, vibrant and affordable housing environment.

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round


Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing and supervising day-to-day housing cleaning operations to ensure prioritization and work order completion.  
  • Enforces policies and procedures of the department and company.
  • Orders and organizes cleaning supplies, and tracks inventory needs.
  • Trains employees on safety, unit directions/specifications, ergonomics, and policies to ensure compliance with Company standards. 
  • In charge of room inspections and public areas to ensure compliance and sanitary requirements met.
  • Assists with Talent Management supporting coaching and employee accountability.
  • Reports any and all maintenance issues and damages.
  • Helps keep track of labor costs and helps schedule appropriately.
  • Works with Housing Manager to call in contract labor when needed.
  • May be required to assist other departments as needed.
  • Able to lift 25lbs or more - this is a physically demanding job.  

 
Job Requirements:

  • College degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Supervisory experience
  • BC Drivers License required
  • Fluency in English
  • Great communication and organizational skills
  • Able to work in all environments (indoor/outdoor) and all weather conditions.
