As part of the Resort Brand Equity team, the primary responsibility of the Resort Content Specialist will be to build & lead the content creative strategy needed to supply the resort brand with assets for personalized and targeted marketing efforts across multiple channels, not limited to digital, e-mail, Social Media, Web, Print etc.

 

The Content Specialist will be part of building the resort’s brand and be involved in the content strategy and creative aspects of making it come to life, while ensuring the brand’s voice, guidelines and all aspects of the brand ladder back up to clearly defined guidelines.

 

This role will help develop the assets needed to fulfill the resort’s content and creative needs to establish the resort brand in the global marketplace, as well as help develop the diversified messaging and differentiated content and creative in order to deliver personalized and targeted messaging to varying audiences.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in creative and content creation and storytelling. E-Mail Communication & Social Media Strategy as well as a good understanding of metrics & the ability to provide reports and results of the effectiveness of the content.

The position will assist in both personally creating as well as helping amalgamate content and creative from third party partners to produce various creative assets needed to make the brand come to life in digital / video / print / web / social / E-Mail / collateral / signage and various other executions.

 

She/he will have will have their hands in many different types of projects and be responsible for delivering results on-time in a very fast-paced environment. Flexibility and a positive attitude are crucial for this role.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

·       Build & lead the content creative strategy needed to supply the resort with assets for personalized and targeted marketing

·       Report on content creative strategy metrics & results

·       Social Media & Community Management

·       Assist with creation of multimedia content development for website, blog, E-Mail, and social media platforms

·       Assist with creation of creative assets for digital, video, E-Mail and offline advertising campaigns

·       Assist with brand element creation, design and campaign execution

·       Video & Photo Content Creation

·       Work closely with the resort marketing, sales and communications team to create messaging that is in-line with the resort brand

·       Assist with various PR-related storytelling content needs

·       Maintain a content production calendar, with an organized schedule of cadenced messaging needs

·       Miscellaneous Marketing and PR duties as assigned, including but not limited to: web content, creation of articles and listicles, social media channel content, content coverage of resort events/attractions/conditions, RM content contribution, and working with various vendors, agencies and contractors in the resort’s content creation network to amalgamate, edit and distribute various types of creative and content assets

 

Qualifications:

·       Experience leading a multi-channel content strategy required
Strong storytelling and copywriting skills. required

·       An eye for visual design, with ability to work independently to capture photo and video assets. Required

·       Strong written and verbal communications skills. required

·       Must be able to ski or snowboard. required

·       Must be organized and thrive under tight deadlines. required

·       Must be able to work approximately 40 hours a week. required

·       Must be familiar with social media platforms and channels & reporting. required

·       Must speak, read and communicate fluently in English. Required

·       Photography & Video Production experience is an asset.

·       Adobe Creative Suite & Word Press Proficiency is an asset
