Job Summary:
The Whistler Blackcomb Snow School Assistant Manager – Product Management. is a member of the Whistler Blackcomb Snow School leadership team and reports to the Snow School Manager. This position is responsible for supporting the Snow School Assistant Managers with day-to-day operations, instructor training and development and guest experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• To assist the Snow School Manager with running the daily operation that will ensure our guests and experience of a lifetime
• To meet all Snow School objectives as defined by Manager Team
• Provide training in the areas of daily instruction at Ski and Ride School including curriculum development, scheduling, and assigning classes providing support with instruction as needed
• To ensure administrative duties including hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, managing equipment inventory and reporting on guest feedback are completed by direct reports.
• To track and confirm that instructor performance and behavior is monitored and documented to provide meaningful feedback and direction, including recognition, correction action, or escalation if necessary
• Train Assistant Managers in acquiring knowledge of and adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• To Comply with all safety related programs including policy training and incident reporting are being followed and tracked by direct reports
• Facilitate coordination with other management, departments, and third-party organizations as needed
• Create leadership forums providing feedback and input on school operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities
• Other duties as assigned by the Snow School Manager
Job Requirements:
• Current PSIC/CASI/CSIA or equivalent certification required; CSIA, PSIC, CASI, CADS Level 3 or equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years (minimum) ski/snowboard instructor experience and 1 year of supervisory experience required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Strong organizational skills
• Collaborates well with team members
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
