Job Summary

Assist day to day operations within the vehicle parts department. Maintains inventory of required vehicle parts, supplies, and tools. Orders, receives, organizes, and stores parts and supplies. Assists mechanics by locating and pulling parts required for scheduled work. Maintains computerized records and processes related paperwork. Responsibilities include: parts ordering, returns, inventory control management and compliance. Adheres to policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

 

Job Specification

  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availiblity: Full Time, Year Round

 

Job Responsiblities

  • Prepare purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
  • Responsible for maintaining timely and accurate inventory counts.
  • Oversee proper vehicle work order inputting, including parts and labor, into maintenance tracking software.
  • Learn frequency of parts usage and house stock of frequently used items.
  • Effectively communicate parts order status and availability with shop personnel, manager, and inter-departmental staff.
  • Create and establish a strong working relationship with co-workers, procurement and all vendors for the vehicle shop.
  • Demonstrate strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Previous accounting, inventory management or procurement experience preferred
  • Colorado Driver’s License
  • Proficient computer skills, Excel, Word, AS/400 and or Maintenance/Procurement Tracking Systems
  • Oral and Written English Proficiency

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $24.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
