Job Summary:  

This position performs basic maintenance on all types of mountain fleet vehicles with guidance and direction of more skilled mechanics. Snowcat track work will be the main priority, with other duties assigned such as cleaning, vehicle parts inventory, PMs, brake, tires, etc. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that has a mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow.  

 

Job Specifications: 

  • Expected Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 / hour 

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

  • Skill Level: Entry 

  • Our Fleet:  
    • Snowcats 

    • Snowmobiles 

    • Heavy Equipment 

    • Light Duty Trucks 

    • Shuttle and Transit Buses

    • Small Engine Equipment 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Snowcat track maintenance will be the priority within this position – replacing grousers, track belts, etc. Will be labor intensive.
  • Responsible for cleaning vehicles and shop floor and shop equipment.
  • Servicing of small engines/snow blowers, fluid changes, spark plugs, sheer pins, drive wheels, augurs, filters.
  • Cleaning of carburetors, jets, fuels, applicable additives and replacement of any other components, maintenance or servicing necessary for optimum functionality along with operational checks there of required.
  • May perform routine vehicle safety/maintenance checks and some routine maintenance, fuse and bulb replacement, tire mounting/balancing, filling of tires to proper air pressure, rotation/torque of wheels, lubrication and top off of fluids, including parts pick-up/delivery/inventory.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Prefer some vehicle maintenance experience, especially with types of vehicles in our fleet, or mechanical aptitude. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license / clean DMV record. 
  • Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly. 
  • Standing, sitting, or kneeling for long periods of time

     

 

The expected pay range is $21.00 - $25.53. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
