Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

    Ability to work with power tools such as chainsaws, pole-trimmers, brush saws, grinders and hammer drills; along with hand tools such as hand saws, various axes, picks, shovels and rakes.

    Operate light and heavy equipment per SOP safely and effectively.

    Report directly to Lead/Foreman with issues, concerns or problems

    May be required to perform daily mountain maintenance and assist with mountain improvements including re-vegetation, trail maintenance, erosion control and general mountain clean-up.

    May be required to assist in the building and maintenance of signs, fences, decks, closure structures, and other installations.

    Physical duties to include: tree cutting, de-limbing, de-stumping, lifting, and carrying materials, digging, rope running and general maintenance.

    Must be self-motivated, have the ability to follow instructions and work independently on the job.

    Communicate effectively with co-workers, mountain staff and guests.

    Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and those around you at all times.

    Implement safety standards and best practices on a daily basis.

    Ability to stand / work outside in an ever-changing weather environment for 10+ hours per day.

    Ability to be ready, and fit for work, as early as 6:00am each day

    Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive various vehicles including 4WD trucks and UTV's (training included).

    Must be trained or willing to receive training in light and heavy machinery operation.

    Must be a team player with a positive attitude and ready to work for each scheduled shift.

    Ability to perform heavy work (defined as exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects) – required.

    Must be able to stand for long periods of time – required.

     Must have excellent guest service skills - required.

    Able to work outside in all mountain weather conditions – required.

    Must adhere to policies, procedures and safety guidelines - required.

         Experience working in a winter environment - preferred

    Must have a valid driver’s license - required.

    Must have a high school diploma - required.

    Willing to work overtime as needed - required.
