Job Summary:
The Senior Director: General Manager – Vail serves as the General Manager of The Arrabelle and Senior Director of Hospitality Operations for the Lodge at Vail and Ritz-Carlton Residences. This position maintains oversight of the lodging (both owned and operated and managed vacation rental properties), maintenance, spa and Hospitality food and beverage operations across all three properties. Additionally, this position is accountable for the strategic and financial success of the properties, inclusive of the guest, homeowner and employee experience.
This is a dynamic role that requires an ambitious and passionate leader with strong business acumen, communication, learning agility, a track record of developing leaders, and a high level of emotional intelligence. The Senior Director: General Manager is a key member of the Hospitality Senior Leadership Team and will report to the Vice President of Hospitality, Summit & Eagle Counties.
A successful leader in this role is one who enjoys working through multiple complex issues in parallel, with multiple stakeholder groups, in order to achieve objectives. This role will require a key focus on relationship building and development with internal and external stakeholders in the market. Critical internal stakeholders, other than on-property functions, include revenue management, group sales, conference services, reservations, marketing, finance, owner accounting, procurement, mountain operations, retail/rental operations and other lodging leaders. Critical external stakeholders include individual homeowners, HOA/master association Boards of Directors and other local leaders/community entities.

The expected pay range is $135,000 - $175,000 + annual bonus + equity. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
