Responsible for lead function within the night audit team. Ensures daily financial/inventory records are accurate and complete and high quality night service is provided to guests. In addition to performing audit functions, provides day-to-day work direction to team members; enforces policies and procedures; trains and guides staff as needed; and resolves issues and problems. 

 

Essential Functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of PMS
  • Handle guest’s incoming calls within three rings with enthusiasm and great attention to detail.  Use proper and professional telephone etiquette and report guest problems by using the AYS system
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks and problem solving
  • Ensure that hotel computer systems are backed up properly each night
  • Reconciliation of day’s activities
  • Understand how to respond to emergency procedures in the hotel including bomb threats, police, fire rescue, and ambulance emergencies. 
  • Perform all functions of night auditor
  • Maintain and update night audit checklist as needed
  • Responsible for training night audit employees
  • Oversee all overnight operations and staff at the hotel

 

The budgeted range starts at $20.00 - 23.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
