Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor at Vail Resorts is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department.

 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $26.00/hr - $28.00/hr
  • Employment Type: Year Round
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: No 

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Managing daily Food and Beverage (F&B) shift operations and ensuring compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitoring quality and standards to meet customer expectations.
  • Assisting in the ordering of F&B supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms.
  • Schedule writing
  • Supervising staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
  • Celebrating successes and failures and communicating areas needing attention to staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining open relationships with employees, fostering a motivated and empowered environment.
  • Following the property-specific second effort and recovery plan and staying approachable for all team members.

 

Job Requirements:

This role requires a strong understanding of the brand-specific service culture and the ability to multitask and work under pressure. It is a challenging yet rewarding career that contributes to the overall success of the resort's food and beverage operations. 

 

The expected pay range is $26.00/hr - $28.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
