The Eagle County Uniform Team Lead manages both Vail and Beaver Creek uniform distribution centers.  This is a FT YR (12 month) position. The responsibility is to provide the best possible guest service to internal guests.

Responsibilities include:

> Provide training and development plans for teams in Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek,

  • Time and Labor privileges; fix exceptions & give RPOS access as needed
  • Interviewing, hiring and separation of uniform employees
  • Disciplinary actions, work with Leads of BC and VM, for direct reports and seasonal’s
  • Approving changes to policies and procedures, sharing with direct reports,  communicate with departmental managers & enforcement
  • Knowledge and management of budget, communicating with managers on budgets
  • Ordering & tracking of inventory and supplies
  • Responsible for holding Leads accountable for accurate inventory numbers
  • Receiving inventory  accurately
  • Guest Service- friendly environment upheld by both locations; all direct reports & self, holding Leads responsible for themselves and seasonal’s behavior
  • Use and training on Uniform Manager program – sharing knowledge with other resorts
  • Assist with fitting departmental employees with correct uniform, knowledge of SKU & codes that correspond to departments
  • Assist with setting up fitting appointments for departments
  • Manages communications with department – big picture/processes/procedures etc.
  • Training of direct reports and seasonals
  • Maintain and update Training manuals
  • Delegating out tasks to the team
  • Responsible for yearly requesting of funds for winter uniform capital budget
  • Organizing inventory to create an efficient work space
  • Re-stock inventory
  • Laundry in-house
  • Assist with tune up process (combine shipments were possible) & holding Leads responsible
  • Janitorial duties, as needed
  • Phone, computer and in-person communication skills
  • Participate in Best Practice conference calls and be available to assist other resorts with questions/concerns.
  • All other duties as assigned by superiors
