Job Summary:

Assists Store Manager in the overall day-to-day operation of rental and retail locations. This position is responsible for financial management, staff supervision, training, and overall store management. Oversees training, coaching and scheduling of store personnel. Responsible for sales generation and growth, inventory control, controllable expenses, loss prevention and store appearance.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $25.00/hr - $28.58/hr
  • Employment Type: Year Round 
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales, and demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service
  • Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth Manage and meet labor and operational budgets
  • Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals Role model and administer company policies, guidelines, core values and competencies
  • Train, develop, coach, and maintain a quality core staff
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, and other loss prevention policies
  • Train staff on POS, product knowledge, guest service, resort information, and sales
  • Conduct performance appraisals for and coach development of staff on a regular basis.
  • Maintain all company paperwork and safety standards according to policies and standards
  • Communicate ideas or issues with the Regional Manager
  • Remain current on new products, trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products in the fly fishing/skiing industry.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail/rental or hospitality experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of management experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Fishing/Fly Fishing experience(Please only apply if you are an active angler)
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate frequently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English.
  • Familiarity with rental and retail POS systems.

 

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $28.58/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
