Job Summary:

The Assistant Front Office Manager plays a key leadership role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless front office operations within a luxury resort setting. In partnership with the Front Office Manager, this position oversees daily operations across Guest Services, Front Desk, Concierge, Bell/Door, PBX, and Resort Activities.

 

This role is responsible for upholding the highest standards of hospitality, fostering a culture of excellence among associates, and driving operational performance. The ideal candidate is a service-driven leader who models professionalism, anticipates guest needs, and creates memorable experiences that reflect the brand’s commitment to excellence.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $58,461.98 - $65,358.10

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership & Culture

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily front office operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure.
  • Maintain exceptional standards for check-in and check-out experiences, minimizing wait times while maximizing personalization.
  • Ensure all service delivery aligns with brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Anticipate operational challenges and proactively implement solutions to maintain service flow and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational innovation.

Guest Experience & Service Delivery

  • Create memorable, personalized guest experiences that reflect the expectations of a luxury resort environment.
  • Actively engage with guests to build relationships, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction at every touchpoint.
  • Resolve guest concerns with empathy, urgency, and professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities for loyalty.
  • Empower associates to take ownership of guest interactions and deliver thoughtful, anticipatory service.
  • Serve as a visible and approachable presence in the lobby and front office areas.

Performance & Quality Management

  • Monitor service standards, guest satisfaction metrics, and operational performance indicators.
  • Analyze guest feedback, including surveys and comment cards, to identify trends and implement targeted improvements.
  • Communicate clear expectations and performance goals to the team, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
  • Support training, coaching, and performance management to elevate service delivery and associate effectiveness.

Compliance & Financial Stewardship

  • Ensure adherence to all front office policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Monitor and enforce credit, billing, and cash handling procedures to mitigate financial risk.
  • Support revenue optimization efforts through effective inventory management and upselling initiatives.
  • Maintain accuracy and accountability in all financial and operational processes.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with property management and reservation systems.
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused luxury environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.

Preferred:

  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a luxury hotel or resort front office environment.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including guest services, reservations, and revenue management.

 

The expected pay range is $58,461.98 - $65,358.10. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
