Job Summary:

Responsible for receiving, logging, and organizing merchandise, stocking storerooms, and preparing shipments for customers. This role includes maintaining accurate inventory, following safety procedures, and assisting with seasonal inventory counts while supporting company standards for hospitality, environmental practices, and health and safety. Physical stamina and attention to detail are essential, as the position involves lifting, organizing stock, and working both indoors and outdoors.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $17.75/hr
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: Yes

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • All employees will actively participate in training, observe company policies and procedures, and promote all company values relative to protecting the natural environment.
  • Follow proper lifting and other safety procedures.
  • Make sure all retail merchandise has gone through the necessary logging-in process.
  • Receive retail merchandise through the necessary steps of counting, checking prices and verify from transfer sheets or distribution manifests
  • Stock storeroom.
  • Package and ship out merchandise sold in shop to customers.
  • Inventory storerooms/shops at the end of season at the direction of the Senior Retail staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • Simple processing for ticket printing
  • Clear spoken English
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior retail experience
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Previous customer service experience
