Job Summary:
You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety.  You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Responsible for cleanliness of Dish Room, Pot Sinks, Machines, Main and Outlet Kitchens, Garbage Disposal Areas, Banquet Kitchen, all floors and walls, China, Flat Wear and Glassware.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $17.75/hr - $21.25/hr

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all cleanliness and upkeep of dish room, pot sinks, shelves, cafeteria kitchen, and related areas
  • Conducts cleaning activities as assigned by superiors
  • Ensures all hand wash stations are stocked with towels, hand wash soap and sanitizer
  • Sweeps, Brushes and mops floor and walls in all culinary areas.
  • Empties garbage into the disposal and cleans the garbage disposal area every time used
  • Insures all restaurant have the right amount of plates, glasses and silver ware at all times
  • Demonstrate ability to set up a 3 compartment sink
  • Help other departments when need arises
  • Stocks and maintain all the janitorial storages in the dish room and kitchen
  • Attend all trainings and classes as assigned or advised by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or Senior Management

Hospitality:      

  1. Conducts all duties in a friendly, courteous and organized manner.
  2. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Keeps tables clear of debris and guest areas clean.

Environmental:

  1. All employees will actively participate in training, observe company policies and procedures, and promote all company values relative to protecting the natural environment.
  2. Practice Company mandated recycling programs.

Health and Safety:       

  • Insures Serv Safe and HACCP Practices are followed at all times.
  • Wearing Safety Cut Glove at all times while using sharp instruments - knives, slicers etc.
  • Usage of Personal Protection Equipment provided by the company

NPS/Community Relations:     

You must be committed to working in partnership with the National Park Service and community organizations to enhance our guests’ experiences. Our goal is to receive only fours and fives on the five point rating scale used by NPS.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Required to live on property in the assigned housing or employee RV park
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Multi-outlet resort experience
  • Dishwasher experience
  • Will work mostly indoors unless outside events organized.
  • Knowledge of Kitchen Chemicals and MSDS
  • Cleaning and washing equipment
  • Firm black leather closed-toe and closed-back, rubber and slip-resistant soled shoes  to be provided by the employee.

The expected pay range is $17.75/hr - $21.25/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
