Job Summary:

Advanced Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining guestroom cleanliness, adhering to Vail Resorts/Grand Teton Lodge Company Brand Standards and self-inspecting their own work. Housekeepers must be capable of performing strenuous physical activity daily. Advanced Housekeepers are expected to be prompt and efficient while providing a high-level of service, keeping a positive attitude all the while.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $18.25/hr
• Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026  
• Shift Type: Full Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining guestroom cleanliness in accordance with Vail Resorts/Grand Teton Lodge Company Brand Standards, including, but not limited, to the following:

• Thoroughly clean bathrooms according to procedure – including scrubbing floors, showers, toilets, and fixtures daily.
• Change bed linen and make beds according to procedure- including changing all linens on two queen sized beds per room in each room. 
• Dust furniture and fixtures in rooms according to cleanliness standards. 
• Empty wastebaskets and sort trash and recycling in the process.
• Ensure guestroom amenities such as teas, coffees, soaps and lotions are restocked between each guest.
• Vacuum guestrooms thoroughly.

• Responsible for self-inspecting each guestroom ensuring Grand Teton Lodge Company/Vail Resorts Brand Standards are up held.
• Must be able to clean according to set time standards.
• Assist with training new Housekeeping Department team members.
• Inform supervisors and managers of any maintenance issues as encountered so they may be addressed in a timely manner and/or prior to the next guest’s arrival.
• Responsible for keeping housekeeping cart clean and well-stocked with supplies such as linen, terry, room amenities, cleaning supplies, and paper products needed to service guest rooms.
• Assist with keeping storage closets and office spaces clean and tidy.
• Assist guests with their needs and make any requested deliveries in a timely manner.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Good at repetitive tasks
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to complete strenuous physical tasks daily

Preferred Skills:

• Previous Housekeeping experience

The expected pay range is $18.25/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
