Job Summary:
The Building Maintenance Assistant Manager oversees a team of maintenance technicians responsible for the maintenance, repair of guest cottages, cabins and lodge rooms. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The supervisor also provides technical guidance, schedules tasks, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

• Starting Wage: $50,000.00 - $60,852.50 annually

Job Responsibilities :

• Hire, train, and supervise daily activities of 10-12 maintenance technicians, ensuring timely and quality completion of work orders.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide hands-on support mechanical manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Support the department in all matters of maintenance activities, equipment performance,and technician productivity.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams to support facility needs.
• Helps technicians; fostering skill development and adherence to best practices.
• Support the department with capital projects and equipment upgrades as needed.
• Participate in the EMOD rotation 
  
  

Job Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.

The expected pay range is $50,000.00 - $60,852.50 annually. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
