Summary:
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists the Executive Housekeeper with the oversight of the Jackson Lake Lodge Housekeeping Department which is composed of approximately 70 employees. The Assistant is responsible for training, recognition and coaching of all employees and assists with the administrative responsibilities of the department. The Assistant directs the daily work of employees of the department ensuring cleanliness and efficiency standards are upheld. The Assistant frequently interacts with guests of the hotel and is expected to provide exemplary service to all.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the oversight, training, recognition, coaching/discipline of employees of the Housekeeping Department with the goal of building a highly engaged and productive team.
- Perform administrative functions of the department, including, but not limited to, payroll, scheduling, product inventory, ordering, and maintaining training logs.
- Direct the daily work of Housekeeping Inspectors, Housekeepers, Housepersons, and Public Areas Attendants, ensuring maximum efficiency of the department.
- Ensure guestrooms are cleaned in accordance with Vail Resorts/Grand Teton Lodge Company Brand Standards by conducting regular inspections of housekeeper and housekeeping inspector work and retrain as required.
- Schedule housekeeper work daily and ensure efficiency targets are met by regularly reviewing pertinent metrics.
- Oversee the accuracy of the Property Management System (PMS), ensuring housekeepers and inspectors are updating room statues as required.
- Maintain regular communication with Front Desk and Engineering teams to ensure rooms are ready and in service by guest check-in time.
- Regularly review guest feedback provided through the guest experience survey, Medallia, and work with leadership on plans to adjust service delivery if needed.
- Handle guest cleanliness or housekeeping concerns and communicate any resolution with the Front Office.
- Support department in completing rooms by guest check-in time which may require performing Housekeeping Inspector, Housekeeper, and/or Houseperson job duties.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience
- Microsoft Office and Microsoft365
- Familiarity with Property Management System (PMS) platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Detail-oriented
- Well-organized
- Comfort in fast-paced environments.

The expected pay range is $44,000/yr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
