Job Summary
You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Provides employee dorm residents with a clean and orderly employee village, dormitories, recreation hall, village office, and laundry.

Job Responsibilities
Housekeeping
Cleans and stocks dorm bathrooms.
Transfers trash from buildings to outside containers. Follows and enforces recycling guidelines.
Cleans all surfaces in dorm hallways. Sweeps entryways and cleans windows at the end of hallways.
Cleans furnace/utility rooms daily.
Reports maintenance requirements to Village Manager.
Cleans employee common areas (canteen, TV room, auditorium, hallways, and bathrooms in the recreation hall, laundry and office).
Monitors village area for litter or maintenance needs.
At closing, cleans, strips, and waxes all dorms.
Other duties as assigned
Recreation
Generates and Promotes Activities Calendar within the employee population and assists with recreational activities recruitment / sign-ups.
Lead at least one weekly employee activity (movie night, volleyball, game night, exercise class, etc.)
Job Requirements
Dorm attendants have constant contact with a large and varied employee population. They must be able to set examples in housing regulations and rules. They must also be patient and willing to accept burdens placed upon them by residents.
Must be willing to do nitty-gritty cleaning work, providing service to peer group.
Must be able to work independently and be prompt and concise in cleaning procedures.
Should have some background in basic cleaning procedures.
Knowledge of extra-curricular, sports or artistic activity a plus.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

The expected pay range is $17.75. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
