Job Summary:

The Bell Staff is responsible for providing a "warm welcome" to all guests entering the Lodge, as well as provide courteous assistance with guest luggage to the cabin and a room orientation.  This position requires to be knowledgeable and provide information regarding GTLC, Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding Jackson Hole area.  The bell staff assist the Front Desk as needed and assist the Dining Room by serving cocktails in the Lobby during dinner service.  Most importantly, anticipate guest needs and promptly and graciously assist with all requests. 

 

Job Specifications:

 

Job responsabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a Door Person and warmly greet guests as they arrive.
  • Assist guests with their luggage at their cabin.
  • Provide guests with an orientation to the resort and their cabin as well as accurately answering all of their questions.
  • Assists guests with making arrangements for dining and activities in Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding Jackson Hole area.
  • Attentively and politely respond to all guest concerns or complaints and follow up to insure the guest has received a satisfactory resolution
  • Assist the Front Desk as needed with answering phone calls or attending to guests.
  • Maintain the continental breakfast in the Lobby and completely breakdown at 9:30am.
  • Replenish ice and bottled water in all of the guest cabins and firewood in the suites.
  • Take Dining Room reservations for Lodge and non-resident guests as necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area, the reservations office, and the lobby, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and water potted plants.
  • Light and maintain the fireplace when appropriate.
  • Pick-up and Drop-off guests at the airport as needed.

 

The “must haves” for this position include:

  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Successful MVR completion
  • Must be age 21 or older
  • Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure

 

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

  • Bell experience
  • Guest service experience
  • Hospitality experience

The expected pay range is $17.20. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
