Job Summary:

The T-Bar Market Team Lead oversees the daily operations and financial performance of the T-Bar Market and Espresso outlets. This role ensures each location meets or exceeds revenue goals while delivering exceptional guest service. The Team Lead provides hands-on direction,coaching, and support to staff, fostering our core values. Success in this role requires strong leadership, clear communication, collaboration across departments, and a commitment to maintaining a positive team environment in a fast-paced, seasonal business.

 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $25.19/hr 
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026 
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure quality service standards are met
  • Maintain clean, efficient, and legally compliant facilities
  • Implement daily procedures for both T-Bar Market and Espresso operations
  • Ensure efficient product presentation and consistent service execution

Leadership & Staff Development

  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and hiring
  • Lead training, task delegation, and daily supervision
  • Conduct performance evaluations and deliver ongoing coaching
  • Resolve employee concerns while upholding company values and policies
  • Maintain strong staff morale and motivate employees under demanding conditions

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Analyze daily/weekly labor
  • Adjust operations to meet/exceed budget targets
  • Support of purchasing of products, supplies, and small equipment
  • Support inventory processes and produce required reports in a timely manner

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to all state and federal labor regulations
  • Maintain proper end of day reporting procedures
  • Address customer and employee issues with professionalism and consistency

Communication & Collaboration

  • Maintain open communication with kitchen staff, F&B management, and all resort departments
  • Partner with Receiving and Building & Grounds for deliveries and facility upkeep
  • Represent staff concerns to management and communicate company direction to employees

Other Duties

  • Support additional tasks assigned by the F&B Operations Manager, Executive Chef, General Manager, or Senior Leadership Team

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain knowledge of all ski area operations and F&B services
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude toward guests and coworkers
  • Communicate effectively regarding operational or personnel issues
  • Work independently and uphold all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, especially in training and development
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
  • Follow established F&B leadership behavioral expectations

Physical demands & Work environment

  • Regularly required to talk, listen, stand, walk, and use hand
  • Occasionally required to climb, kneel, crouch, or taste/smell
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. (more with assistance)
  • Vision requirements include distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment
  • Exposure to moving machinery, outdoor weather, cold temperatures, and potential electrical hazards
  • Noise levels vary from moderate to loud
  • Work may occur on slick, wet, snowy, or uneven surfaces

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of food & beverage leadership experience in a high-volume environment
  • Strong financial, purchasing, and personnel management skills
  • Proven ability to train, motivate, and lead teams
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional management and supervisors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Washington State Food Handler’s Permit
  • Class 12 MAST Liquor License
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, seasonal environment
  • Successful completion of a background screening required

 

The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $25.19/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
